Artist's Statement:
Gertrud Mohr-Friedrich is an experimental and a la prima painter in watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed media and collage.  She is interested in abstraction and color. Being inspired by nature and well traveled, she tackles many subjects.  Her greatest influences are the old and modern masters in the great art galleries around the world,  In addition to her memberships in local art societies, Gertrud is a charter member of the Women's Museum in Washington, DC.
